NEW YORK DOLLS Frontman Performs With FRANKENSTEIN 3000; Video Available
December 30, 2006FRANKENSTEIN 3000 was joined by NEW YORK DOLLS frontman David Johansen on Thursday, December 28, for a rousing rendition of the DOLLS' "Looking For A Kiss". The appearance was part of New Year's Rock Fest 34, a worldwide event for peace whose U.S. portion was held at Don Hill's in New York City and filmed for Japan's Fuji Television. Also on the bill were New York-based bands MODROCKET and THE RESISTANTS as well as L.A. GUNS. David Johansen also read a letter from Yoko Ono and did the countdown to midnight, which was followed by a performance of John Lennon's "Imagine" by L.A. GUNS vocalist Paul Black with guitarists Steve Conte of the NEW YORK DOLLS and FRANKENSTEIN 3000's Johny Dey.

FRANKENSTEIN 3000's latest release as part of Main Man Records' tribute to "Spinal Tap", is nearly sold out of its limited, numbered edition of 150.
